Brookside Estates is a neighborhood of 74 single-family homes located near Northwest Grand Avenue and Hunt Club Road in unincorporated Gurnee, Illinois. Originally developed in 1988 as part of Brookside Phase I, our neighborhood is one of the residential communities within the broader Brookside development.
The Brookside Estates Homeowners Association is an Illinois not-for-profit homeowners association governed by an elected Board of Directors made up of Brookside Estates residents. The Board’s role is to help administer the Association, communicate with homeowners, maintain Association records, support architectural and community standards, and represent Brookside Estates in matters affecting the neighborhood.
Brookside Estates also participates in the Brookside Master Association, which was created through recorded governing documents to address certain shared areas, common interests, open spaces, entrances, landscaping, and stormwater-related facilities within the broader Brookside development. The relationship between the neighborhood associations and the Master Association is governed by the recorded declarations, bylaws, plats, rules, and other applicable governing documents.
Our goal is to preserve the character of Brookside Estates, maintain open communication with homeowners, support responsible stewardship of shared areas, and help ensure that Association decisions are made transparently, consistently, and in accordance with the governing documents.
